We have big plans for the future, and our name change is just the beginning. Since our partnership began with Opteon in 2019, our goal has been to revolutionize the American appraisal industry using Opteon technology. Opteon has been delivering same-day appraisals in Australia and New Zealand for more than 10 years. And guess what—we’re currently developing their technology for U.S. markets! To better reflect our global perspective and vision of same-day U.S. appraisals, Apex is adopting Opteon as our new name. 


Why are you changing your name to Opteon?

Since our partnership began with Opteon in 2019, our goal has been to revolutionize the American appraisal industry using Opteon technology. Over 10 years ago, Opteon brought same-day appraisals to Australia and New Zealand by empowering appraisers with technology and data. Opteon has been fine-tuning this process in the years since, and now, we’re customizing the same system for the U.S. Soon, we’ll be bringing same-day appraisals to the States. Eventually, we’ll spread our innovative real estate technology throughout the world. 

To better reflect our global perspective and vision of same-day U.S. appraisals, Apex is adopting Opteon as our new name. 

When will we see same-day appraisals?

Same-day appraisals are currently available by Opteon in Australia and New Zealand. The technology that produces same-day appraisals is currently being developed for the American real estate market.  

Who is your parent company, Opteon?

Opteon is an international provider of valuation, advisory, and property services through innovative software solutions. With the company’s recent expansion in America through Apex, Opteon has invested heavily in the customization of its diverse range of technology-driven solutions proven to reduce time, increase quality, and minimize human error without eliminating human expertise. Opteon was founded in 2005 and is recognized as the largest independent valuation and property services firm in Australia and New Zealand. 

How can I place orders with Opteon?

Our ordering process will remain largely the same. Slight changes will vary based on your LOS Platform, integration, and/or ordering method.  Expect to see some variation our name branded as Opteon.  If you have any questions about ordering, please email us at questions@apexone.com

What changes can I expect?

Our operations will remain the same. You can still expect fast, quality reports and an enthusiastic team to support you.  

We will contact the appropriate individuals for any updates. Appraisal orders moving forward must use the name “Opteon AMC, Inc.” 

Down the road, you can expect multiple options when it comes to your appraisal needs. We’ll be in touch once many of these exciting opportunities become available. 

Are you still an approved AMC with my company?
Yes! Only our name has changed. All arrangements with our clients will remain the same.  
I’m in the middle of an appraisal order with Apex. How will it be impacted?
We and our appraiser partners will make all the necessary changes. Unless we contact you, you won’t need to do anything for your order. We have already reached out to the AMC boards with notification of our name change. We will be changing our engagement letters on August 16th and will begin requesting our updated AMC name, Opteon AMC, Inc., on assignments given on this day and later. We will have a grace period until August 23rd on appraisal reports using the Apex name.
